Maren Brown’s egg tempera painting, Sacred Bones: Shards (2025) was selected for 55 x 2, a juried show at the Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center on display from February 20-March 22nd. Juried by Indira A. Abiskaroon Valbuena, Curatorial Assistant of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Brooklyn Museum, the exhibition celebrates the museum’s 55th anniversary. Two consecutive exhibitions will be held, the first of which (that Brown’s work is featured) will focus on the theme of line.
